• e Readers are available only to residents of Douglas, 18 years or older, in possession of a valid library card in good standing (no fines over $10.00 or billed items on record and up-to-date patron information). Patrons must show a valid photo id when checking out the e-Reader.

 

• e Readers may be borrowed for a 3-week period and are not renewable. Over due fines will be assessed at $5 per day.

 

• e Readers must be picked up in person and returned in person at the Douglas Library during operating hours. e-Readers may not be returned in book drop. e-Readers must be reserved in person or over the phone and cannot be reserved through Interlibrary Loan or online via the CWMARS website.

 

• e Readers will be checked for functionality and accessories before being removed from the patron record.

 

• Patrons will not be permitted to download items. 

 

• The patron is responsible for damages to the e Reader and its accessories.

 

• Replacement fees are as follows (as applicable to specific devices):

 

• e-Reader: $125.00
• Power Adapter:  $30.00
• Case:  $25.00
• USB Cable:  $25.00
• Stylus:  $30.00
